Razor E200 Electric Scooter- An Overview Of The Razor E200
I actually gave the Razor E200 electric scooter to my nephew for his 13th birthday. I knew he wanted an electric scooter, I just didn’t know which one. Unfortunately, I knew nothing about them, so I had to do a little research. However, based on his experience with The Razor E200, and my research, I am able to provide this overview of this very popular Razor model.
Razor USA has been making quality scooters of all varieties, since 2000. They have really “caught the wave”of popularity afforded to many electric vehicles. Many consumers have appreciated the environmentally friendly aspects of electric vehicles.
The Razor E200 electric scooter, in terms of appearance, has that classic “push” scooter design. However, that is where the similarity ends. This model is heavy duty, will the ability to handle riders up to 220lbs!
Consequently, I was able to ride my nephew’s unit, as I tip the scales at 190lbs. The seat is fully adjustable, and fit me perfectly!
First and foremost, I was impressed with how solid and sturdy it felt. This is definitely not just a kid’s “toy.”
It features a solid welded construction, and an extra wide, no-slip deck. The deck was plenty wide enough for me. It can hold a charge, too.
I rode the E200 electric scooter for almost 45 minutes straight, before the 24 volt battery pack had to be re-charged. The charge would have lasted MUCH longer if I took frequent stops.
I also had a ball with the “cool” twist grip throttle. Naturally, I “twisted” it all the way to full speed- 15 mph! That was plenty fast enough for me, however I felt plenty safe, as braking was crisp and precise.
The Razor E200 electric scooter has good sized, 8 inch pneumatic tires, which allow for a surprisingly smooth ride. My nephew tells me that he even can jump small ramps with it, but I’ll leave that to him!
